Health is the most important aspect of an individual for leading a life of peace and containment. It is not just concerned with attaining certain levels of physical fitness, but it means maintaining a disciplined and active life free of diseases and illness. Good health is concerned with the wellness of the body and mind and involves the social, mental and physical well-being of a person.

Fitness & Health

Regular physical exercise and a proper nutrition rich diet are the key ingredients to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It has to be understood that fitness and health are separate entities with similar meaning but they are not the same.

Fitness levels are achieved through continued practice and training. A fair level of fitness is always commendable but it is not an absolute measure of good health.

Example: A person with high levels of physical fitness may suffer from internal issues like diabetes or hormonal disorders or even mental issues.

Hence fitness can be considered as a vital parameter for good health but it does not completely define good health.

So, for maintaining overall wellness in health, there are lots of other factors thqat should be taken care of:

  1. Regular physical activity. (Moderate workout, running, cycling, swimming etc)

  2. Proper nutrition in diet

  3. Sufficient sleep

  4. Sufficient water intake

  5. Regular review and consultation with doctors for existing physical issues.
