Raunak's Journey to Fitness

Part-I : Exercise is the best habit for life….
- Hey Friends,
- In today’s world who doesn’t want a flaunting body. As the saying goes with great power comes great responsibility similarly with a healthy diet and proper exercise comes a perfect body. So my journey started where I casually started exercising and with time fell in love with it. I had a very limited exposure to the world of fitness where I thought it was only limited to weights, but thanks to my trainer who made me believe that it was so vast and beautiful where you could literally do new and unique things every day.
Part-II :
- From Trx to animal Flow, cattle bell to circuit, HIIT to weight, a free hand to callisthenics, I fell in love for all. He taught me that you don’t necessarily require a gym to train, you can train anywhere with anything.Things were going well, I moved out of the city and went on for my masters. I used to exercise once or twice a month and my eating habits were a bit bad. Apart from that everything was on track. I was building my pavement for my career and then suddenly I started having serious pain in my back.
- I prolonged it by not treating it and continued with that pain and this turned out that I was suffering from ankylosing spondylitis, where I was not able to sleep at night for days and that affected my performance in the day where I was not at all fresh.

Part-III
- I didn’t know what to do, doctors said that you’ll always have to be on painkillers and medication; but again exercise was one such this that restored faith. I started exercising but this time not with the mindset to have a proper body but to stay fit. Now I stretch for the first 30 minutes and then I perform the other exercises in the next half. The moral here is: you need to keep your body fit if you want a happy life ahead and for that, you need to involve yourself in any kind of fitness.
